I’m having 7-8 older Dell Pentium II and Pentium III desktop systems that my employer got rid of them when they went out of business. I would now prefer to reload the operating system on each of them and then sell them out. As I making use of the Dell service tag on each machine, still I require to order for the OEM replacement operating system disks from the Dell for each machine separately? I’m not ready to pay for the disk or whatever the Dell charges just to have them send out the multiple copies of the same thing. Am I able to load the operating system on each of the machines with the same Windows disk and then getting the operating system register with the each unique MS Product key which Dell has for each of the PC?
I have also seen that others who are reselling the multiple older PC's completely with a freshly installed operating system on Craigslist all the time. How are they able to handle the OS issue? They aren’t paying for a licensed copy of the OS for each machine themselves. I also guess that I'm not all that clear on how my OEM licenses will work. I’m sure that there are lot of people who are been desiring to reload the OEM OS without making use of the original OEM disks. Some simplicity on how to reload the OEM OS in the easiest way would be mostly appreciated.
