Thread: Preventing of files from being dragged away

Is there any way for 'protecting' the files in Windows, like one can easily protects a worksheet in Excel? I too want to make it so that people actually cannot drag the files/documents into folders where they are been located.

Anyone have any ideas?

How would the computer know that it was an accident or not? How would it know that a file is belonged to particular folder or not? This may be improved by solving it with the user training.

And how would the system know that the particular operator has moved the file deliberately or by accident?
