    not sure what you said but i have a lot of expense dual booting linux and windows vista/xp. What you do first is pasttion the other hard drive into a primary, and 3 logical part partio ns. then install window 2000, next install xp. And then install ubuntu linux. The reason why you have to do that is, s xp is a new operrating system the window 2000 .And xp will destroy it because it is newer
