Thread: i have a windows 98 with a celeron 535 processor, can i upgrade to windows 2000 without a bunch of problems.?

You should be fine as long as you have plenty of RAM (at least 64MB). I've personally installed 2000 on a 633Mhz Celeron and it was fine (but that's with 256MB RAM). RAM for that computer is really cheap too.
