Thread: HP pavilion driver for Windows 7

I have HP Pavilion dv5 1199ef and I installed Windows 7 in my PC. But the problem is I can’t get drivers for touch sensitive buttons and fingerprint reader. Please help me to solve this problem as early as possible.

Try to install Vista driver they works for few devices. If HP does not give driver for windows 7 then only option is to use windows vista drivers.

I have tried with vista drivers but it didn’t work for me. I want software update driver hp do, but message appears as operating system is not supported. But I want to work with windows 7, so please help me to solve this problem.

There is other alternative using software like driver scan which scan system for suggested drivers and downloads that drivers. For Windows 7 you just go to HP software and drivers download section and pick model you will obtain drivers for this.
