Thread: How to stop program from auto updating in Windows 7

I have some application that I don't want to be up-dated robotically and need help in doing so. And my OS is windows 7.

The applications mainly do the updating themselves. You can do, check applications settings pages. Here some settings that you can uncheck to stop them updating. Other thing reject the applications to reach internet through your firewall, if you have one. few applications install additional software for updating purposes. You can uninstall them separately.
