Thread: Acer laptop MIC not working after Window 7 upgrade

I have acer extensor 4420 and it had vista on it but after I controlled to Win7 mic congested working. I have tried both sound settings and installing audio driver but keep getting errors. Please help me to solve this problem.

Did you make sure that the driver is windows 7 compatible? Many Vista drivers work with 7, but not all. You Mic SHOULD be covered with the sound driver as I can see no reason for a separate mic driver, but look. Did you upgrade your motherboard drivers also? That might help.
