With Windows Vista, Microsoft changed old file path of windows explore with new way of presenting recent folder position called 'breadcrumbs.' Not all was pleased about this alters and hoped for choice to disable attribute with free of Windows 7. Windows 7 did not carry about capability to revert file path to older XP style file path so few developers took it upon themselves. A few free utilities permit use to reinstate Windows 7 address bar with an older format.

Instructions:

• Download breadcrumb elimination utility of option. Two free options are AveNoBreadCrumb and BreadCrumbKiller.

• Unzip downloaded file. Double click .exe executable file restricted within unzipped folder.

• Close some open Windows Explorer windows. Reopen new window and enjoy replaced address bar.
