Thread: SmartDefrag runs slow in windows 7

I have Acer aspire laptop and installed windows 7 on it. As windows 7 is better OS than anny other OS but I didn’t like the work of defragmentation utility in windows 7. So I install SmartDefrag in my PC but problem is SmartDefrag runs extremely slow. So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

Just provide the configuration of the system as defragmentation much depend on the configuration of PC. As HDD is full with data then defragmentation takes much time. So just try to upgrade system configuration.

Thanks for replying and my system configuration is 2GB RAM and 320 GB hard disk out of which 270 GB is full with data.

I think SmartDefrag application is not installed appropriately and it is showing error. SmartDefrag is good application also it runs well in widows 7. But if problems happen with this application then I suggest you to reinstall it again.
