Thread: Windows 7 pauses on startup

I installed new copy of Windows 7 then create the problem all time I boot up the machine it gets to primary windows screen where it says "Starting Windows" and has energetic windows logo in center. Then flash once, and this screen sits here for around 2 occupied minutes doing not anything. Then after those 2 minutes, I can hear the hard drive boot in and within 10 seconds I am at windows. all works flawlessly from here on out, but it actually maddening to have to wait that extended time to boot. The time it takes to get passed this screen appears to fine, I didn't time it but there was a time it took at least 5 minutes to progress. Has anybody heard of this happening before? Please help me to solve this problem.

You have installed chipset drivers, right? and possibly try unplugging your USB devices and come into view if that fixes the issue. Normally thought since stop occurs when USB appears to initialize.
