Is there any best choice for Formatting a hard drive for the above, NTFS default is the safe choice?

    Default

There is the NTFS Default and the Unit Allocation Size whereby there are options from 512 byte to 16 kilobytes. What size is the best for 64bit or 32 bit Windows 7?
