Default Checking filename is FAT32 or NTFS

I want to know that how to tell that filename is FAT32 or NTFS as hard disks are all NTFS. I was moving files when unexpectedly filenames of few files altered from original long filenames into short filenames like FAT32 filename. So please help me to check whether file is fat32 or ntfs.

    Default

FAT32 also has long file names. File system is either FAT32 or NTFS. Files are not essentially one or other. E.g. you could put file to USB drive and copy to MAC or Linux or Windows and file will stay same although original file system on all systems are different.
