I bought a new laptop...Toshiba Satellite...I want to use it at my cottage....We have dial up internet, only....My laptop doesn't have a dial up modem...I purchased a 56 K USB Modem...When I plugged it in, Windows 7 doesn't reconize new hardware...Is it possible to install this...or should I return it ...and live without laptop at cottage??
Any advice would be appreciated...And I hope I worded this question, properly...
I do know a little about the operating systems of a computer, but not a lot...
