Thread: Screen flashing

I have installed windows 7 in my PC. I am having a problem of Screen flashing in my computer. Whenever I choose a folder an error comes on the top left corner saying “Not Responding”. I can’t figure out why I am facing such problems and hence need your help in solving the issue. Please suggest some solutions.

To fix this problem, go to start, type regedit in the search line and press Enter. Once the registry editor is opened, find these registry keys and remove from the system.

• HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop\HungAppTimeOut
• HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop\WaitToKillAppTimeOut
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\HungAppTimeOut
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WaitToKillAppTimeOut
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WaitToKillServiceTimeOut

Once all these keys are removed, resolve your problem.
