I am trying to install windows 7 except the install is telling me to load a "cd/dvd" driver. In all my hundreds of installs I’ve not at all had to load a cd driver prior to.
I have hunted the net for a driver and every solitary site only gives me an upgrade to 1.6v and not a driver. This pretty much left me at a dead end. The dvd rom is a PHILIPS DVDR1660P1, but as I say, every site gives me the equal thing and not a driver.
