    Default Windows 7 DNS Error

    Hi,
I've annoying to link my windows 7 machine to windows 2003 area. My area is my DNS & DHCP server.

When I attempt to unite the domain it present an error "An effort to decide the dns name of a domain controller in the domain being connected has failed. Please confirm this shopper is configured to arrive at a dns server that can decide dns names in the target domain"

Can you chime the Domain Controller with the FQDN? (Fully Quallified Domain Name)
On the server, right press “My Computer”, press Properties
    Press the Computer Name tab
Note the name exposed on the Full PC name: line
    On the Win 7 system:
Press Start, type cmd, hit Enter
Type Ping FQDN and hit Enter, using the name you noted above as the FQDN.
