Thread: How to turn off the scheme icon in Windows 7

I am windows 7 user. On my desktop there are lots of unnecessary icons, and they are taking the place unnecessarily on the task bar. Please tell me how to systems icons off in the task bar? If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It is highly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Try this it may solve your problem.

1. Go to start >> control panel, make all items view.

2. Double click on the System Icons icon.

3. In the System Icons window you will see the dropdown list, Click on the related list to a system icon

4. Select Off and Click OK button

It is very simple just right click on the Task bar and after that property. Now click on customize button. Then click on Turn system icons. You get the dropdown list. Select whatever you want and click Ok.
