    Default Windows not detect

.Hello, I am operate with windows XP Pro x64 bit, I have had big problem with xp when it starting . When I install a program that checks what windows I am running earlier, I will a lot of problem in windows. And, when I want to start a boot-time scan, I won't be able to because Avast can’t notice my os. The most new example of this is when I was installing iTunes. ITunes 9 can't install, as one installer said I had the other bit installed. I was able to regress to iTunes 8, but finally failure and ignoring the problem won't be an option.

I always clean ups registry by using CCleaner. The am pretty sure the issue has been here since I installed XP.Please give me some help thank you in advance

I would advise to remove iTunes entirely from your pc and all related files and that clean, by Cleaner, running Run Cleaner, Registry and Startup and then do a system defrag.

I agree with Adamsappleone that you have to remove all traces of ITunes from the system there. Other thing to know is that the "crap cleaner" is not an really registry cleaner but generally a drive and IE history cleanup device with a rather limited uninstaller. Although Easing sees a far better and faster cleaner the over use of cleaners can direct to other problems when important registry keys are accidentally knocked out.

Your major problem however is with compatibility issues common with the 64bit Windows but still more so with the older XP Pro 64bits since most new versions of things like ITunes are intended more for the 64bit flavors of Vista and 7 versions of Windows. This is likely why you had better results with the #8 version of ITunes to start with.

For the previous 64bit XP there I could suggest you run the Secunia Personal Software cheker and allow that to locate the updated versions for many programs by simply clicking on the button
if detect your more vulnerable programs and plug-in and automatically connect to the update sites
