Thread: Windows 7 logo screen

I am using a computer system installed with windows 7 ultimate. I have one issue with my primary IDE HDD failed so i reinstalled on the secondary. Then i installed a sata HDD and reinstall windows 7. I have just installed an FX5200 agp card and now have lost the swirling logo left with the vista bar. Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

If computers didn't do weird things, Open an elevated command prompt (WinKey +R > CMD> enter) and type; bcdedit /set locale en-US and simply press enter and restart the OC.

Make sure GUI boot is enabled:
• Click Start > Run, type msconfig, press Enter.
• On the Boot tab, make sure No GUI Boot is unchecked.
