Thread: Sound problem in windows 7

I am wondering how I can run my Logitech x540 speakers via HDMI. I went and obtain a 23"HD asus monitor and an Xfi sound card. Currently, i have the 4850 running hdmi to my monitor, and my monitor speakers work well, though I am not capable to know a way to run my Logitech x540 speakers via HDMI using the xfi if that makes sense mostly I’m seem for better audio and I want to use my computer to the fullest

The finest opinion to you to plug the speaker set straight into the sound card then bypassing the Creative audio console's speaker settings for 5.1, 7.1 surround sound mixer as the plugs from the monitor just plug into the front there. The sound coming off of any monitors speakers or the outputs they have their lack over either the optical I/O on the card.
