    Default Windows Defender 'mswsock.dll'

    Windows defender warning regarding 'mswsock.dll' caused me to by mistake refuse the program access, now although I have a good connection to the internet I can't access the web! I done system restore and disabled windows defender but still same thing is happen. If you are having any solution from which I will able to solve this problem, and then help me to solve it.

    For that you need to follow the below steps mention

    • Go to start and Type cmd in the start search box

    • Right click on cmd from the top of the menu and select run as administrator.

    • In the command prompt type the command netsh winsock reset and hit
    enter.

    • Reboot your PC and check the status.

    I have tried the given solution but it didn’t solve my problem. Please try to provide some other solution.

    Try this given method to fix the problem

    • Check and repair Winsock corruption.

    • Click Start. In the Start Search dialog box, type: cmd, and right-click cmd.

    • Click Run as administrator.

    netsh winsock reset, and after that hit ENTER key.

    Exit and hit ENTER.

    • Reboot your PC.

    Or

    • Reset the TCP/IP protocol.
    • Click Start. In Search dialog box, type cmd, and right-click cmd and Run as administrator.

    netsh int ip reset, and hit ENTER.

    Exit and hit ENTER.

    • Reboot your PC.
