Thread: problem with the Task scheduler on Windows 7

i have a small problem with the Task scheduler on Windows 7.I like to use it to start a program, when my computer is at hibernation by the nighttime, so it can run while i am not at the computer.

The problem is, that as i plan the Task in the Scheduler, my Computer will start at the time i select and wake up from the hibernation, but it all acquire stuck at the User log on screen.

The password prompting is because of how you have the power options>advanced configured. One selection in the advanced for the power plan you have set is for wanting a password upon waking up from hibernation instead of just coming at the desktop.

That is the item to look changed in the power settings where you just click Apply and close that up and may want to click on the save changes button .

I have just selected in Actions to start up two programs one is a Windows program image viewer and one a third party application Rap Get RS. None of them started.

In mostly where you put the system into hibernation it will be a web application that permit to do the similar that will respond once the system is woke. You can schedule any system to go into hibernation as well schedule it to awake in order to see programs run. All that depends on what every program has for it's own selections of course.
