Thread: To rearrange virtual memory on start up in Windows 7

lately installed Window 7 while a clean install. later on a some days the Virtual memory Power option dialog keeps seeming on start up with the paging file size reset to 0.

I have checked a some blogs around where other people have found same problem and these normally show running scan now on the disk.

I have run scan now on the disk but this detects no problems.

I would have to change the introduction of the paging file on the 32bit being run on the Virtual PC here to see if that looks here as well.windows 7 has seen a several changes in it from old editions when this sounds like a prompting to get Windows manage it.

To manage a custom sized paging file if you don't want the Windows handled size or to consider a new one made on the next start up the image here shows the options for this.

That was one thing done for windows XP and Vista often adequate. You should have seen the MS informing when going to unchecked the Windows supervised option.
