Default sound problem in widows 7

I formatted the partition again to reinstall windows 7. i so soon have most drivers installed successfully. but when i attempted to install the realtek hd audio codec, there's even no sound. i already attempted installing and restarting probably five times but still no sound.

Please give me some ideas why this is happening?

A small universal information on the system would serve here like make and model or the board if this is for on board sound. Realtek drivers are known to be unconventional at times but if you over with the set for a dissimilar audio chip that doesn't help.
