Default Windows protector problem in Windows 7

Why Windows guard appear to be like a half-dead program in Windows 7?
At start up it reacts to start with Windows and I have to manually click it on, but then once again it doesn't appear to be behaving anything unless I make a manual scan or manual update of its definitions.

    Can anyone help me?

Assure that Window protector is arranged to Automatic in the Services.
Win Key+R > Type "services.msc" without quotes > OK > Find/Double Click Windows Defender > Start up Type for Automatic > Apply > O.k. you are utilizing Microsoft Security requirements, Windows protector will be disabled.

I think Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware are two different things. MSE does all this in one package. To elaborate our thoughts on Spy ware and Virus Culled from S woof Ware

I needed Windows protector to function was to have real time security from spy ware and malware because the internet is much refuse space and you can never be certain what bug can criticize you.

I experience there are some good free programs out there I can utilize in replacement but I needed to utilize what Windows came with, as well when I run a scan with encouraged System Care it forever detects whatever spy-ware is hiding in my hard disks.

Essentially I needed to know if another people are having the similar problem with this program and if there is a virtual solution.
