Has finally arrived and the wait has been worthwhile. The Beta 3 of the new operating system Windows Server Longhorn as a solution in servers Microsoft is already among us.
Windows Server Longhorn is behind the long experience acquired by Microsoft in systems operating Windows server and includes many new features and technological improvements. These will help increase safety productivity scalability and significantly reduce the burden of the administrator in development of their usual duties.
Compared with the system earlier operating MS Windows 2003 Longhorn offers a range of improvements and new features and functionality. We turn to enumerate some of the innovations we consider to be of greater interest.
Among these are the new Server Manager Bit Locker Drive Encryption, Application Server Role, a new Firewall with Advanced Security Windows, NAP Terminal Services Gateway, Terminal Services Remote App, Server Core, Power Shell, backup, standardization of applications and many others.
In this article we will discuss and present a little more detail some of the improvements built into Windows Server Longhorn. Unlike other launches products and earlier versions this beta has all the features of the product end. Initially the first thing we found in the boot of Windows Server Longhorn is the tool for initial system configuration which we show a series of steps necessary to complete the setup of our server.
