Default Windows 7 / XP style / HP ScanJet 5370C

I'm functional Win 7 Pro and my HP ScanJet 5370C is not constituted by Win 7. It has to do with the drivers. HP has not seen fit to offer them for Win 7. So I installed XP Fashion and installed the HP Scanjet software under XP and when I displace HP PrecisionScan Pro, I get the succeeding evil substance, "Worthless, scanner could not be initialized. When I blockage or undo the detector USB cable, I do get a articulate salutation from the group.Has anybody out there run into this and resolved the difficulty? I hate ro exchange the detector because I don't use it that such but when I do, I solace activity utterly or at small it did before Win 7.

I've been out to the HP web tract under Software & Driver Downloads HP Scanjet 5370C Detector. There is a dropdown there that lists the verified operating systems for the Scanjet and Vista and Win 7 is not catalogued. Only Xp approve to NT 4.0. There is added restore of substance on that strainer the says "I dont see my operative method" and when clicked, says "If your operative scheme is not recorded, HP does not change software or wood downloads visible for this production in that operating grouping". This is what I expressed in my innovational plea for ameliorate, no wood for Win 7. That's why I went with the Virtual PC and Xp Fashion software to permit me to run the detector in realistic Xp. But I can't seem to get it to business.

    Thanks!
