The OPK is exclusive required when you're doing a reinstallation of Windows, in thinking to sell a machine to someone.

It's something that I would (and, jazz) victimized a few times (I do anatomy occasionally.)

For a system that you're building for yourself (read: you are the end user), you don't need to use it.

Upright installed an OEM writing, myself. Preformed artifact as habitual, and i was not prompted to do any pre-install things. I construe something virtually OEMS beingness unfit or something if definite software is heard, so i am playacting it riskless for now.

Should not screw to vex around beginning the OEM though - should be as unchaste as a inbred put.

This is my desirable way to go, with a new body. I always counsel upgrades if practical (omit for where you power be doing the Anytime Upgrade system in Windows, then it's obviously OK). But I ever praise an unspoilt pose on new builds, or with new parts (mobo, HD, etc).

But to resolution your query, you should person no problems with the OEM round versus an upgrade/restore plate. Rightful tidy careful the PC meets the requirements for Win7 (especially as far as retention goes---Win7 module feel a way to use at least 1GB of RAM, which is the minimum by the way---2GB is OK for goods tasks, 4GB is recommended for everyone added unless you're doing several oppressive video/audio transform or playing the fashionable and sterling games--then maybe 8GB).

But because you're not clogging your scheme with potentially old OS files that won't be utilised, plus I reckon it goes faster than doing an designate (I anticipate I indicate somewhere that Win7 elevate can hump up to 24 hours to complete, versus a 1-2 distance clean put from a bootable/OEM DVD).
