Thread: Ineffective to open Windows 7 Magnifier.

I have newly set up windows 7 running system on my machine. Today when I was playing with the magnifier I suddenly choices dock alter, and now when I am testing to unselected it, then it is not permiting me to do that. After that I rebooted my machine and tried to start the magnifier, but it was not obtainiing opened up and it gave me the fault content.

I have a fine fix for this peculiar trouble. So first try to close the magnifier, and then go to the registry by going to the operate and typing regedit in it. Now you will needed navigating vi the following key- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ScreenMagnifi er. After acting that you will want going to the Magnification Mode DWORD cost and here you will have to alter the cost to 2 or 3.

Thanks for the response. I have implemented the answer given by deepest Blue and after doing it I was able to resolve my trouble. Now I am able to start Windows 7 Magnifier on my computer. By going to the registry I had altered the cost to 3 and it did work for me. It was actual a wonderful answer, as it solved my trouble.

I also, was having troubles with mag. program in win 7. I unfortunately, tried deepest blue's suggested fix...altered cost to 2. This adjust my mag., but unfortunately spoiled other programs. Few open way too big to utilize, and few way to little to view adequately. Tried a restore. this fixed few things, but again made others worse!
