Default Boot cannot determine windows 7 Running System.

    Hello Guys,

Had the hard earlier than that was resolved, but it has circumstantially returned. I cannot conceive it's associated, but killed my wireless keyboard vector. I apply an former USB keyboard, and when I introduce no running system detect. Hit F8 start a DOS window that he had non view earlier. I wondered how hard to detect the running machine. When I prefer C, it locates the OS the syatem then boots very well. Shutdown and restart and again cannot detect the running system.

    Thank You.....

Acer Travelmate 4070 with Windows 7 - I partitions and set up Ubuntu 10, which operated good for a couple of weeks. So boot my machine, and get "Running system not detect." I am unable to my machine boot Windows or Ubuntu. Nor was a backup, which is not identical critical, but I'd be able to recover one or the other, if I can. I went ahead and format to another USB Ubuntu set up apply my desktop, and when I test to do a new set up on the laptop, I get to the partitioning step and cannot detect my hard repel at entire.

I guess it is a substitute repel broke down or a bad connection maybe? Have you attempted the "try Ubuntu with no altering something" choice from the LiveCD to see out your hard repel that way? It audio almost as if no disc or disc was not formatted yet (as a number of latest alternating discs sometimes are not). With the LiveCD you'd be able to view this real rapidly by opening the machine / file handler in places.

Can you notice the hard repel inside BIOS? What type of hard repel are you with? Are you apply SATA or IDE? If its IDE confirm the Jumper Settings, confirm it adjust on top of Master. If you are with SATA, don't be problem regarding it. SATA hard repel don't make apply of jumpers. I guess this is assist data for you. And if you are not able to resolve it then try to detect about this on net I guess you will get right data on it.

    Thank you.
