Thanks for your response. I tried out your idea in the Acer machine, but minus any success. Protection is turned on, but I yet get the same fault content when I attempt to run backups. I'm not surprised for the cause that I did not read what he was doing and content on the screen do not loook to have any meaning for my trouble. The only matter I understood was "Create a restore point", which I apply in XP pc, I detect this, but I do not recognize if the restore point with respect to the C: drive or disk backup.

No, sorry. If you have active security machine and has allocated area is sufficient to make at least single restore point I do not read what the content said. Still though I achieve by make apply of Windows Backup I furthermore make apply of Macrium for the cause that I don't on the total trust it and it be able to behave strangely on happened. Hello I am tackling similar trouble. Still how much amount of area remains on repel C? I have no thought what operates construct in backup program, still if you first make a snapshot of the information on the repel you are backing up and not enough area on that repel for shadow copy to work , then it seems to me the cause of this error. Look to be veriouse extra backup / imaging program.

If you mean the machine partition reserved, the team has allocated area of 100 MB and it has 38 MB of free area. This was find with machine Management / Disk management process.
