Default Windows 7 RTM is ineffective to discern SanDisk SD cards.

I do not induce many SD cards, but two x SanDisk Extreme III -two GB - (formatted as FAT) are not distinguished by Windows 7 as soon as they come in a reader Multi storage Reader, while it controls information (. jpg and. mov) and it is absolutely useable on Win XP Pro SP3 A 3rd oldest and least functioning - Toshiba 512 MB SD card rather ordinary - (formatted as FAT) do not pose any trouble about it: read / write / format.

I am also becoming by the same consequence and related to this I induce substituted several emails with an "alleged technical support" SanDisk but they resists to accept this trouble into considerateness the pretext that windows 7 does not formally exist yet. I curiosity if lucky owners of this type of SD card (cat six SanDisk Extreme III or equivalent!) Have this same kind of troubles player with Windows 7 "Multi storage Reader / USB 2? If yes, induce you detected a result.

I think the trouble is not with the cards, I induce four Sandisk (and it was opportunity, not choice) one GB two GB four GB and no troubles whatsoever utilizing the floppy disk of the notebook PC, the player from the camera or reader of HTC. still it says a lot of troubles with "multi storage reader / USB 2". A user could set up Windows 7 with the repel plugged in (the installation froze towards the end). some other could not open this cards with Norton Anti Virus enabled. some other was forced to reconfigure a USB port. However I detected no result since it depends on the set up software and its own configuration.

What you can attempt is to force a redetection of your USB ports, it only induce to go into device manager and delete them all in order to force them to think, still redetection plague a mouse PS2 earlier, it's pretty commodious to validate the contents once invalided ports if not only DISCONNECT the USB mouse and reconnect to force redetection. This can help force the reconfiguration adjust them.
