Default Windows 7 showing up 3GB ram or else of 4gb.

I have a 3 GB of DDR3 RAM and a computer graphic card of 1 GB. I fresh set up Windows 7 and appear at the machine via the control panel; I establish that Windows spots 4 GB of RAM, but only 3 GB. Can anybody explicate this? Is the '4 gb 'finded by the windows added the graphics card memory? Am I able to neglect this and be equal to to make entire utilize of my deuce DDR3 3 GB and 1 GB graphics card? Anybody has any proposition about this?

    Hello Friends,

First, the system memory and the memory on the video are discrete and classify from each other. They do unlike things. Second, the 32-bit running systems can only view 3.25GB of physical memory instantly (holding this simple). The rest of the memory is yet there, but Windows cannot actually take benifit of (limited 32-bit edition). If utilizing a 64-bit edition of Windows, the systems “view" entire the memory.

I've discovered (from the person who has found i) that the machine has 4GB of DDR3 RAM. So I just set up Windows 7 (64 bits). But yet, the similar quarry, 4 GB of memory set up, 3GB usable. I guess I have a couple of quarry. How I can detect out vai biographies of the amount of RAM is not physically (if you just advocated opening up the machine and control, I will do that)?

When you look for the sum of memory on Windows? In the BIOS, there is usually an space that exemplifies the amount of memory set up. Usually right on the screen first establish. As good, few main boards have memory problem by reporting 3.25GB. What brand / model main board are you apply? Download and set up specs (just Google) and view what it reports.

    Thanks Friends..

Yes, if its auto than no hardware can be reserved 0. Apply to handle system twist. Yours looks to be quite high, if 1025 is reserved. Mine is like 67MB. The other numbers are nice. Furthermore, these figures do not addes the video card memory. Try this, go into catalyst (unspecified set up with the novel video card) and view the amount of dedicated memory and shared the report. As good, look in the BIOS and observed how much fixed video memory is configured to do so.

    Thanks.........
