    Default Windows Protection Alerts Virus?? Help!!

    I have finished a accomplished reformat of hard repel and set up Windows XP. As soon as my machine was up and I logged in, I watch that darned red shield and the Windows protection Alerts on the bottom.assist!! What can I do?

    "Red shield and the Windows protection Alerts" it doesn't entails that you have virus in your new formatted machine. Those apprisals shows that you set up any antivirus or if the antivirus is machine and the red shield will go off.
