Default Ineffective to set up windows with System Recovery DVDs on Compaq CQ61-313us.

Ordered DVD recovery system and installed on my last Compaq CQ61-313us weeks and now my laptop has an HP splash screen at startup (for a Compaq) and hangs in the product information is invalid motherboard (00A) at startup (press Enter to continue.) Now I can not seem to install Windows with the Restore DVD and Ubuntu (Linux) tells me that is a dvx-HP Pavilion. Any hope for me to get it fixed (out of warranty)?

I guess there are three unlike numbers for three dissimilar things. A number is a barcode scanner readable bar cipher. A number is to know the DVD edition of the release. (-001) And the most new matter is a file used by the programmer to know the file as a reference possible. I do not guess will get the corresponding number three. I guess now that are realize by your quarry, if you are yet stumped then determine that on the Internet.

What relationship do that is an HP Pavilion dvx (without thinking that Ubuntu is pulling that information)? Is there a way to update the BIOS back to normal? I installed the Win7 key at the bottom, but it is too low to be understood. I guess these books use the BIOS to confirm that the windows can be legally installed. I flash the BIOS with the latest Compaq BIOS update, but that changes nothing. So I'm not sure the HP screen comes.

Did you change the boot order from the hard disk into the CD / DVD in the direction of load Ubuntu, or install ubuntu? If you changed the boot order to boot from the CD / DVD, this is possibly the explanation of why you are getting the boot error. The team might be looking for something that is not able to find. If you installed Ubuntu could have damaged the MBR of Microsoft. I'm sure this will clear your doubts.

I did not. I have been with the F9 function key to boot from the CD. The system begins to rely on a CD without difficulty. And it takes an hour with respect to the installation of Windows 7 before it fails. In what is possibly going to articulate that is failing because they see the appropriate information in the BIOS. That is, the requirements for a product key. I ran through the installation of about 3 times.

Hello, I was facing the same problem. The reason why my laptop is moved to an HP because I changed the hard drive. In the laptop and the recovery DVD does not recognize it. Personally it is a lot of junk. But no one forces me to use an HP product. Never in my life I've had a bad experience like this. HP actually considered I'm stupid? I'll take the case of credit manager. Leave a message for each day.
