Default Will dual Floppy repel be affirmed by Windows 7

I have a new computer. It has an Intel motherboard that DG41TY a floppy controller. I have two floppy drives set up with Windows 7, but only identifies the player to the end of the cable. Both devices have the cap and are presented separately, but if you connect the two until they show slaves. It is Windows 7 Professional. I thought the B: drive is usually reserved for the slave drive, but it is available to change my flash drive, I wonder if this is a limitation of Windows 7.

I am not aware of the support broke, Windows 7, the drive letter matters much less than before. You can set to run from point A to point B, and a USB memory device would use a very good thing. In addition, the device can be used instead of ZR is the likely limitation of the motherboard in Windows, but you need to check the BIOS settings, and bridge-unit? If you see the drives in Windows Device Manager for the other, a yellow warning sign? Or is there one yet?

Have you checked the jumper as well? He tried to master / slave on another computer? Also use a cable with a light touch on it, right? As in the round of 2.3 son twisted way through, so that the pin at the end of the album is different from the motherboard pinout. Disks with drivers for Windows, so no problem. Use of the two was something of a niche market, even at the time. Clearly, even more rare today - I can use one, but I'm the only person I know who does. What does that mean it is not too much to ask?

I am a technician. I have a client who will not come out of the Middle Ages. He likes to have two. He bought a new computer for me. I have a cable that supports two units, however there is only one twist connector on the end. Is this normal? I tried different cables with the same results. I do not know if this will work or not sure, but I hope it can work for you. Just check once.

As far as I know, all the disk drives require a turning point. If there is one, you must ensure that before any unit I think. So if it is a straight-edge, connect that end into the motherboard. This cycle has already taken place in both units. In addition, the connectors are colored? It used to be a mother gray, black central part of the basic cable, the blue end of the second command, and could easily be different, even though the newer cables?
