Default Optimize SSD in Windows 7

I just received my system (Win 7 Ultimate 64bit) installed on an Intel X25-V (40G). Well my thought was that ONLY system + drivers are on the SSD and bask nothing. However, even now the desktop on the SSD, thus "user / users", so the shortcut in the taskbar to "Pictures", "Downloads", etc. As soon as I am now also a file on the desktop, the SSD memory load . Now my question is, can I link the desktop to install the HDD /? I will not just go through the Start menu on the SSD, when I click on "Images" go. Or is there another solution?

Yes, these directories (My Documents / Pictures / videos / music / what-and-always) move to a different partition / disk. This is by right-clicking it> Properties> path. By the way, encouraging data have not lost desktop! If you consistently use the appropriate directories, you have in case of problems, and reinstalling a lot less effort.

Thank you for your help. However, I've beat it somehow . On the HDD (/ E) "User" is created. On /: C -> Users and wanted to "desktop" move. Did he tell him it is to / from: move e-> Users. However, he has held the folder is not created, so the entire "Users" folder to / E now had the Atribut a desktop. I speak as "images" to / from: I moved E, it was encouraging to me in time desktop directly. The folders are not visibly moved. And in the Start menu is now, if you click on "Images" is that the path can not be detected.

I also do not say that you should move desktop, because that is nonsense. If you wanted to move the, one would sensibly equal to the reflections profile directory C: Move \ Users - whether the fact (reliable) goes, I do not know, but I think it unlikely. In an unattended installation that goes well, I do not know, because I keep moving the profile to be unnecessary.Move times the stuff back, just as it was. And, note that "user" not equal "User" can be, because those are Germanized name for directories that are not real. Take rather a file-based file manager for Total Commander or Commander Free on offer.

Then simply put the folders again, and if it is not in the current system, then via safe mode or function "Repair your computer", which starts a Windows PE environment, but holds no GUI tools - there is then only with what command line (shown in a GUI).
