Thread: Logitech mouse MX518 Log off and on randomly with windows Vii

Two month before I purchased fresh Logitech mouse MX518 at it was functioning well until I switched to windows Vii. Just the mouse turn off and on randomly and this is my second MX518 and having similar trouble. Please assist me in setting it.

Remove last mouse driver and set up drivers of MX518 of windows 7. I had similar trouble and fixed through re-set up drivers. And download drivers from Logitech official web site.

Yap, still I have the similar trouble my mouse turn off and on randomly and when it is turned off or on the window play the tune similar I am plugging and unplugging it. It is really so irritating sometimes the tune continuously play for more than a minute. In this matter i have to plug in again.

Tried doing drivers re-set up from Logitech official but the trouble continues. Guys please assist me out with few other result this is my second MX518 and do not need to purchase fresh one again.

Assure whether the mouse functions in other PC, too assure through connecting to dissimilar USB port or see whether any other mouse functions perfectly in your system if it functions then the trouble is not with mouse the trouble I with your system and previous choice is test to do windows repair guess there must be any window trouble because the trouble start later switching windows.

I am a large fan of Logitech MX518 I purchased it 5 years before and purchased it two times for myself and MX518 is legend wish to play game with it. I never had any trouble with this mice.
