Thread: HDMI sound not executing.

Since I utilized the fresh update, I'm not capable to alter my headphone audio output to HDMI. I can switch among the 2 daily close. I had not antecedently encountered this trouble with any 10.6 or 2 shots of Leon. I have a Panasonic TV. Each time you click to alter the headphone output to HDMI from the top image bar or sound by sound settings / returning back to the headphones...

Just do a small troubleshooting. If you disconnect the mini jack to the headphone jack the sound starts on the TV via HDMI later on that OSX line decimates the choice to display the inner speaker. Also the minijack plug back into line, the audio block panel TV and sound software mechanically jump back to the line output. They are yet ineffective to switch to HDMI through software, as it is physically plugged in. minijack repeated various times. You can only switch to HDMI audio output, as the minijack plug is physically withdraw from the headphone jack on my 2010 MacMini. As this gives a temp solution, which is rather bothering.

I tested out to play with the MIDO settings but non operates. When I test out to take the Samsung TV (HDMI) output that does not arrive back to the headphones. This took place later the 10.7.2 update and it was operating nice earlier. This happens for entire audio; no way to take the HDMI output any longer, easy return to the headset.

Is there anything connected to the headphone / audio out port? The behavior I'm viewing is that if something is plugged to the headphone port / audio output, HDMI is not possible to take System Preferences -> Audio, still apps that is able of taking a destination is able of sending audio HDMI audio. If there is all that is connected to the headphone / audio out port, not plug it and let us recognize if HDMI becomes then take? This data could assist Apple locate the trouble in a timelier manner.

I have not had success in obtaining the default route audio via the HDMI port Audio MIDI utility. The behavior is not alter earlier or later that the release of QuickTime or XMBC to play media document. Unluckily, it has no optical repel on hand to verify the behavior when utilizing the digital output.
