If left standing would not have to be that by the OS but rather some damage hard disk desktop pc .
Hi I have two discs of Windows 7, corresponding to an upgrade of windows vista to windows 7 that came in the tender offer that I made with a dell laptop. The laptop was stolen and I want to use the operating system to install on the desktop pc. I spoke to Dell on the phone to tell them that I had stolen the laptop and asked if I could install windows 7 on another PC, I had said that if the label bearing the serial number of windows, there was no problem. I tried to install it on your desktop pc but gives me error.

I believe there is no damage the desktop pc. I am using it constantly and has given no paste.
May be that you provided win 7 OEM DELL laptop to buy DELL only work on computers, another thing that can happen is that when an update needs a VISTA installed to continue the installation, if you have the license / key I would try to look for the "underworld" an installation CD of the same version (of home 64 because that etc) and try to use the key that you have to activate it.
Hello, I think the windows that had the laptop was W7 Home Premium, but I remember that was 32 instead of 64, although I'm not in this position. Can be a windows 7 32?
