Thread: LIMEWIRE????......how good/bad is it?

ok so i have been wondering about LIMEWIRE. Is it any good or does it really kill your computer? I got a new laptop 3 months ago (windows vista) and i want to download free music. I usually buy my music from itunes (over $200 i spent there) and know i want to save some money!!!! Will limewire cause my computer to crash? are there any other free music down;oad places?I have norton security and a firewall...will this help? PLEASE HELP!!!

It wont cause youre computer to crash..it's a normal P2P app.You can simply download everything free.(Movies, games, music etc)

i prefer to use iTunes because although it costs more the quality is better and on limewire you get those nasty little virus's in limewire our computer crashed using limewire just use iTunes its much more safer and limewire you use up your downloads onlyto have them be a terrible version or someone else singing ithope i helped

First off, just realize you are breaking the law when you use limewire. There is no gray area in that, it is flat out illegal. Now, if you are ok with that, you are opening your computer up to whatever viruses/trojans anyone else you are sharing with may have. With a solid anti-virus program on your computer, it should not hurt it too bad, but you will get things on your computer you do not want.

sometimes firewall will block the limewire..anyway limewire is rly gd if u wanna save money..lot f people r using it..personally i dnt hv any problem with limewire.but hv 2 remember it's full f trojans.so kp a gd virus scanner.

full of adware, spyware, trojans, viruses. bittorent is your friend. much better.

will i have had limewire for over two years now i brought it for a year for $35.00. and it has been working good for me
