Thread: Windows did not find anti-virus software on this computer. using avg free edition?

It worked fine untill a few days and then the security alerts start to pop about not having a anti-virus. i uninstalled and re-installed but i get the same problem?????Is this a virus?I just dont inderstand it always worked fine and the wnidows security alerts always picked it up untill recently. how can i fix this thing??????????using windows vistahave ad-aware and spybot search and destroy
