The main purpose of Windows Vista security must be such an increase safety, which will allow experienced users as well as newcomers, to gain access to networks and information securely and without worries…

Security has become so important element, which was given so much attention that it became a priority when leaving the new version of Windows. Despite the extensive discussion and attention, yet it seems that each individual user has a poor perception of the Windows Vista. For example, such things as intensively covered UAC and criticized, while others - such as bidirectional updated Windows Vista Firewall - remain without proper attention.

New Windows Vista Security Blog has been opened just for this purpose. First post, it made Ben Fathi, our vice president of technology security department, leading to some other blogs, publish documents and sites. Ben previously discussed the topic in this other blogs now focus on information security, as well as provide another channel to collect feedback from users.

For example, Ben referred to the review ASLR, which in combination with the DEP is an important and little-reported in the press part of security. These two innovations protect against malicious software, peretasovyvaya memory, so it is complicated organization buffer overflows. ASLR + NX represent a myriad of different scenarios we have provided security in Windows Vista, which will tell the people directly working on them.

Security very many faces, and I hope that this blog will highlight some of the unknown aspects of Windows Vista.
