Windows Vista comes with a variety of features that can be enabled or disabled by the administrator. Some of these inbuilt features which may not be required by the user are disabled so as improve overall system performance. But if you find it necessary to activate these features, follow the steps below:
o Click on "StartlControl Panel".
o Double-click the "Programs and Features" icon.
o On the left pane, click the "Turn Windows features on or off" link.
o The "Windows Features" dialog box appears with a list a activated as well as deactivated features.
o A selected checkbox next to a feature indicates that the feature is currently enabled.
o To enable or disable a particular feature, simply select or clear the respective checkboxes.
o Once done, click "OK".
