The Hibernation service is extremly useful since it saves a lot of power especially if you are using a laptop but at the same time it also uses a lot of Windows resources.
If the Hibernation feature is not used by the user frequently, it should be disabled to boost up Windows Vista.
To disable the Hibernation service, Run Control Panel and double¬click the "Power Options "icon. Click the "Change Plan Settings" checkbox.
Click the "Change Advanced Power Settings" link. Expand the "Sleep" option. Expand the "Hibernate After selection" option. Enter '0' in the textbox and click "OK".
