Windows Vista comes with a variety of features that can be enabled or disabled by the admin.istrator.
Some of these inbuilt features which are not required by the user may be enabled. These unwanted features use memory unnecessarily and reduce your system performance.
To disable these features, click on "Start I Control Panel". Double-click the "Programs and Features" icon.
On the left pane, click the "Turn Windows features on or off" link. The "Windows Features" dialog box appears with a list activated as well as of the deactivated features.
A selected checkbox next to a feature indicates that the feature is enabled.
To disable a particular feature, simply clear the checkboxes that you dont require and click "OK".
