Thread: Uninstallation woes

I have a Compaq Presario A900 notebook. Recently, I am facing some problemhvith it. I've tried several times to partition my window but succumbed. There are some applications that can't be uninstalled anyways. And the PC it is running very slow. Please tell me how to overcome this problem.

Try disabling this option in the BIOS and after that you can partition your hard¬disk using any third-party partition tool. When we install any software the windows installer maintains the total log of that application. Here log means what files are copied to hard-disk and where and what kind of registry modification have been done.

At the time of un installation the un installer reads the log and acts accordingly. If the log gets corrupt then uninstalling the program is quite problematic. For this you can use third party uninstallers like Ashampoo Uninstaller or Perfect Uninstaller. Also defragment your hard-disk once in a month.
