Thread: Disable Aero glass (Vista)

Vista's Aero Glass transparency effects may look great, but they drain a computer's processing power. If your computer is struggling or unresponsive, turning them off can help. To do this, right-click the desktop and select Personalize. When the Personalisation dialogue box appears click the link 'Window Color and Appearance' at the top of the list. Untick the 'Enable transparency' box in the window that appears before clicking OK.
