If you're baving trouble reading your computer screen or controlling your PC with the keyboard and mouse, there are a number of ways you can customise Windows to suit your needs - including controlling your PC with your voice. To experiment with some of these settings click Start, then Control Panel tben on Ease of Access. Here you'll find a selection of options.

You can either use Vista's wizard and let it decide which settings would be best for you (click' Let Windows suggest settings'), or experiment with some of the settings yourselfly clicking on the individual links. Click on Speech Recognition Options to start setting up your PC to respond to voice commands. You'll need to add a microphone and spend some time training Windows to recognise your voice, but once you have done so, you'll be able to navigate all your programs and dictate to your computer using speech alone.
