The Quick Launch Toolbar appears just to the right of the Start button in Windows, and contains shortcuts to frequently used programs. If it's not visible, enable it by right-clicking on an empty part of the Taskbar, left-clicking on Toolbars and then ticking Quick Launch. It should be one of the first icons in the toolbar. In Windows XP look for the show desktop icon, which looks like a white pad with a pencil pointing at i,t. In Vista the show desktop icon is blue, while most'versions of Vista also include a button with three windows on it: this starts the Flip 3D interface.
